Thanks Erbs. Know that my dear wife is hard to please when it comes to beef. I slow cooked the roast for 11 hours following your recipe. She was enthusiastic about the flavour, coming back for seconds. I found the flavour just what I hoped for, 'natural'. The juice/gravy/sauce was a fine compliment to the meat, carrots, parsnips and yams. We're hooked. FIVE STARS! Praise king Jesus!
