What Is Minute Steak?

Minute steak is a type of round or sirloin steak that is very thin, making it quick and easy to cook. It is a cheaper, tougher beef cut that is best cooked quickly.

The terms “minute steaks” and “cube steaks” can be used interchangeably in most recipes.

How To Cook Minute Steak?

Minute steak can be cooked in various ways for an easy meal, including in a crock pot with an onion soup mix for extra flavor. It can also be cooked in a slow cooker, grilled, or pan-fried.

Season your steaks with salt and pepper and other spices of your liking.
Preheat your grill, pan, or broiler before cooking the steak. You want it to be nice and hot to get a good sear on the steak.
Cook for 1-2 minutes per side in a large skillet, depending on the thickness of the steak.
