I was skeptical.. but!!!

Friends of the Erbs (Mike and Tinamay) recommended their grass-fed beef to us. They said it was delicious and we would not be disappointed. I was skeptical at first because I'd always believed that grain fed beef was more tender and flavourful because of the extra fat. Boy was I wrong!! We will never go back to store-bought meat. The taste and quality are amazing. The ground beef is so lean - plus NO WATER leaches out into the pan when browning. (This saves a lot of time.) Grocery stores/packing plants must add water so they can charge you more. I was really surprised to find out that grass fed beef is healthier for you. My husband has high cholesterol, but eating grass-fed beef is roughly the same as eating chicken. I was very impressed with he level of communication in helping me decide on how I wanted it cut. The delivery service is top notch - friendly and efficient service. I'm so glad our friends did us such a huge favour by recommending this place to us. Oh! I almost forgot to mention... since our initial order of a side of beef, we also discovered their sausage (a hundred times better than anything you can buy in the store - seriously!) and their grass fed butter - which is pricey, but the flavour is gourmet and worth it! When you melt it, it's pure butter. No white stuff trickles out like the storebought stuff. I will never go back to buying store bought meat/butter/sausage if I can help it. Finding Wilderness Ranch was a huge blessing!
