Beef and burgers are delicious, and nicely cut and packaged as well. Can't beat the sense of well-being knowing the quality of meat you are putting on the table for your family.Being married into a Greek Family, we eat quite a bit of Lamb, and have to say haven't tasted any better than what we have bought from Mark and His family.Looking forward to picking up another order.
I would just like to congratulate you on your wonderful efforts! I don't eat meat, personally, but my husband does and for years I've struggled with it, until I found your products. I honestly thought all farming and farmers were the same (i.e. nuts to the animal's welfare, its only about the bottom line!, etc.) but I truly believe you are different (I was told to go to farms individually and check them out for myself, I couldn't personally make it to your farm but my aunt and uncle went to see it and report back to me). I've shed many a tears frustrated with stories about today's farming industry (force feeding chickens, battery cages, separating calves and cows so early, not letting pigs see the light of day their entire lives, etc.), and I've been duped into "organic" meat and "free range" eggs, and although I agree they are somewhat healthier for the animals, it's not all it's cracked up to be (who can one trust?!). Honestly, I don't believe that humans were meant to be vegetarians, but I just can't fathom giving the farming industry any of my money considering they represent everything against which I stand! Then we found your farm, the practices are fantastic, the quality of your meat is second to none! I'm sure you probably hear this all the time, but I just wanted to let you know that we feel so incredibly lucky to have a family run farm like yours in our area. It is people like you that give me hope for the future of our children's food supply. We need more ranches like Wilderness Ranch. I know that farming is no easy task, especially the way you guys do it! So THANK YOU for doing it! You have no idea how much it means to us!

Tyler says: We haven't grilled a steak yet but we made some stroganoff tonight with the stewing beef, was amazing! It melts like butter! Hope all is well with you and your family.
We just finished lunch. We BBQ the rib steak. We did not marinade it or put any type of sauces or spice on them. We wanted a true sampling of the taste. Hmmmm what can I say, except awesome. When Mark refuses horseradish on his steak cause it is so good and he doesn't want to mess up the flavour, I have to say it is a great steak. The fact he was cutting it with a butter knife also attests to the quality.

We enjoy Wilderness Ranch Beef very much! It is flavourful and it is reassuring to know that it is locally raised by a conscientious farmer. We don't purchase beef anywhere else but from Wilderness Ranch! The Erbs are also great neighbours, and we are happy to support them in their quest to provide us with the grass-fed advantage.
