Grass Fed Beef Rib Steak


The Rib Steak is the ultimate steak-lover's steak. It's the most flavorful cut of the animal, and comes with very rich marbling, which provides superior taste when cooked. The cut itself comes from the rib section, where it gets its name. The bone from the rib is typically removed before sale, although we do also offer "Prime Rib" and "Tomahawk" preparations of the cut. Its abundance of marbling makes it a great cut for grilling and slow roasting. 
Our 100% Grass Fed and Grass Finished Beef steaks are tender, juicy and overflowing with flavor! Be prepared to enjoy the best steak you have ever had! We typically have a beautiful selection of Tenderloin, Striploin, T-Bone, Tomahawk, Prime Rib, Sirloin and Sirloin Tip Steaks. 
Tenderness Rule Of  Thumb: The farther a cut is from hoof, horn and hip the more tender the meat. BUT less tender cuts often have more flavor!
Note: Our beef is 100% grass fed and grass finished so do take extra precautions not to over cook your steaks! Our steaks are all cut at 1 inch thick except tenderloin steaks are cut at 1.5" thick.

good but expected better. the taste is just okay, not excellent. quite a bit of gristle too. the bone and tougher/gristle parts made an excellent broth

Great Steaks

We started buying The Erb Family Grassfed and finished Angus since last fall and found the whole process easy and enjoyable. The taste of the meat and fat is delicious, cooked rare or medium rare it is moist, tender and all around outstanding. Any of our guests who tasted the burgers we made with the gound beef from the Wilderness Ranch could not believe that lingering finish taste of goodness .....
